To celebrate Host, which begins today in Milano, Astoria would like to invite you to their stand (HALL 15 STAND G53 G61 H53 H61) with a full calendar of initiatives.
From Friday the 23rd to Monday the 26th, the Astoria stand will become one of the central hot spots where you can admire the talents of the best baristas in action during a live show.
The spotlights will be shining on the main bar and the Plus4Champions, the official machine used in the World Latte Art Championship and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship series.
The special edition of the Plus4You TS will be the machine used by the semi-finalists challenging one another in the Espresso Italiano Champion contest promoted by INEI, which is scheduled on Sunday, October 25th, starting at 10:00 a.m. The challenge will feature six finalists: five Italian baristas and one Korean barista.
The Astoria main bar will also be welcoming one of the most esteemed Latte Art specialists in the world, the barista Arnon Thitiprasert, who was one of the finalists at the World Latte Art Championship in Gothenburg in June 2015.
The Thai champion is also the founder of Ristr8to – Specialty Coffee Crafters, Ristr8to LAB – Roasting Lab & Coffee in Good Spirit bar, Doppio Ristr8to – Specialty cult cafe in Chiang Mai, and he is one of the best interpreters of the espresso culture in Thailand. His passion for latte art was born in Australia, where Arnon underwent a long training course which culminated in him being proclaimed Thailand Latte Art Champion; he was also a two time finalist in the World Latte Art Championship, in 2011 and in 2015.
At Host, Arnon Thitiprasert will be supervising a series of demonstrations dedicated to latte art, giving full expression to all the potential of the Plus4Champions, the machine which was his companion during the finals in Sweden. The appointments with the Latte Art Exhibition are scheduled to take place at the Astoria stand on Friday the 23rd, Saturday the 24th, Monday the 26th (from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.) and on Sunday, October 25th (from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.).
At Host you can admire the special artistic chassis that made the Plus4Champions really stand out with the baristas in Gothenburg during the finals for the 2015 WLAC and WCIGS.
