When competing at the highest levels, results often come down to a photo finish. This is what happened in Susegana, where Astoria hosted the second Treviso stage in the 2015 Espresso Italiano Champion series on May 14th, 2015.
The high level selection was organized in association with the Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano (Inei), and pit a total of 11 contestants against one another in an intense test.
Everyone came well prepared to give it their all: in fact, the winner, Fabio D’Aguanno, triumphed over the second place contestants by just half a point. It was a tie for Luca La Valle and Daniele Salvatori, who were ranked second with equal scores, and third place went to Massimo Tamburrini, just 2 points behind the second place positions.
D’Aguanno is a partner in the Pura Vida Coffee Shop and a consultant for the creation and management of several establishments. He will move on to the semi-finals of the Espresso Italiano Champion series, which will be held at the Astoria, Wega and Vibiemme stands at the 2015 Host trade fair on Sunday, October 25th.
