“Victory will come”. Peter Sagan’s prediction came true today at the Tour de France, with a sprinting arrival at Albi, ahead of Degenkolb and Italian national rider Bennati. The achievement obtained in the seventh stage of the Grande Boucle is a triumph that the champion from team Cannondale had been preparing for days, collecting a series of second and third places and defending the green jersey with guts and determination as he awaited a stage victory he could call his very own.
Having already won the points’ classification last year, the white-green star is considered one to watch on team Cannondale: Astoria, official supplier to the team for the Tour de France, is paying close attention to him and his team mates. They are also being closely watched by the guests hosted by the special Hospitality initiative who are following the race from the front lines. And how could you not feel close to the athletes who can count on the excellence of Astoria to find their sprint every day? In fact, to mark the occasion of the one hundredth Tour, the team’s vehicles are all equipped with Astoria coffee machines, expressions of the finest technology in the service of espresso and respect for this great Italian tradition.
In today’s victory – and the ones to come – there is also the precious energy provided by coffee. It was a perfect crowning moment for the first week of the race, made possible by the fantastic team work orchestrated today by team Cannondale.
