The last 15 years have seen exponential growth in the consumption of espresso and cappuccino, even in the British Isles. Out-of-home consumption has become a fashion and a lifestyle. Whether enjoyed on a break or taken on the go, cosmopolitan England has joined the ranks of countries where drinking espresso is becoming a deeply rooted tradition. This is why once again Astoria will participate in the London Caffè Culture Show.
Scheduled to take place at the Olympia Exhibition Centre from the 15th to the 16th of May, 2013, the event is dedicated to coffee professionals and will focus exclusively on the domestic market. Caffè Culture shines its spotlight on major global coffee chains as well as the finest independent producers. Astoria will be there to promote its products at stand E20, which will cover a surface area of 40 m² and feature a bar space centered around its top model, the Plus4You, displayed here in the version with two groups, in a white/chrome color scheme.
The Plus4You is the most advanced product stemming from Astoria’s research in the field of environmentally friendly technologies and represents the “A” class of coffee machines: thanks to its exclusive energy saving function and intelligent software that can measure the work load or distribute energy only to where it is needed, the Astoria flagship model prepares only 
the finest of coffees, with certified energy savings of up to 47.6%.
There will also be a special area set up to showcase the Gemma, a fully-automatic machine presented in the touch screen version, which is available also with a separate stand-alone refrigerated module and a cup-warmer module. Also the push button version of this bean-2-cup machine will be on display in the transparent blue/stainless steel finishing. A whole range of accessories will also be showcased in their special area while other models on display will be: the chrome version of the Gloria model with RGB LED base-lighting and steam levers and the Settanta in red/stainless steel finishing and LED lighting on the back panel.
