The SCAA 2013 trade show was held in Boston, MA at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center from the 11st to the 14 th of April. This is the largest trade show that Astoria/General Espresso exhibits in.
“We displayed 10 machines and several grinders in our booth” says Courtney Baber, Sales and Marketing Manager for GEEC. “Our Astoria Perla machine was used in the Ecuadorian Coffee booth for tastings. This show is always a great opportunity for us to meet with our distributors and introduce them to anything that is new to our line. Many distributors travel from all over the country to attend this show! This year we introduced the new Settanta machine and the Steamer. The Astoria Steamer is currently in high demand, so this new model was well received”.
“The star of our booth was definitely the Settanta! There is a trend in the US right now towards semi-automatic machines, making the Settanta a great addition to the Astoria line and a machine that barista’s will surely be excited for! We also had a great barista from New York City to make espresso and cappuccinos for our visitors”.
